Whips

So this is what a girl can do when there are -0- distractions. These are my newest creations in the making. I love the little busts I've made in the past and thought I'd make a series of them. The Moonies will be set on to boxes or candle holders...haven't decided yet. I have some polymer stuff ready too, but will wait to show you those later.

It's wet and about 50 degrees outside. They, the weathermen (not the radicals of yesteryear!!) say snow maybe...I say snow, impossible. The thermostat needs to drop a lot before that happens. Anyway, enjoying my time alone, but miss my honey like crazy. Going to have another bowl of my Caldo de Res for lunch and then head back into the studio. Don't worry, Tristan, it's actually just a Mexican version of a beef soup with veggies...no anti-Christ ingredients in there!!! LOL I think you'd like it, with corn tortillas and homemade guacamole and a bit of chopped cilantro...yum...got to go, am hungry all of a sudden!! Peace out.

I'm hungry now too. Unfortunately I don't have caldo de res. I remember my Grandmother Maria used to make a huge pot of it and when she did, everyone was there in the kitchen. She made the hugest tortillas, really thin ones, Sonoran style.Enjoy your soup Georgina and have fun creating. Already they are looking good. Have a great day tomorrow. Take care.

Hey girl. Soup sounds really good. We are not getting the snow that the "meteorologist" said we would at least not yet. I had a whole day of crafting and stuff with the kids planned and then....they had to go to school. So I took down the snowman tree. Maybe that's what attracting the snow to the area.
The crap room feels like I could be more encouraged without a holiday tree in there too.
I didn't know you were a lover of "mer". Me too. I mean what else would land locked beaners be enthralled with but merfolk? I should explain that you have to be one to call someone else one? Or is that too PC? WTH
vert word is.......colime. That's the co leaders of green citrus fruit are called. Co Limes.

Soup tastes better reheated anyway. Guacamole...mmmmm!

Your busts are coming along nicely. Do you paint them different colors or leave them as white they are?
