Farewell, Leonora Carrington

Good journey, Leonora, and say hello to Remedios and Frida when you meet up in that big studio in the sky. Peace out.

I actually never heard of her Georgina. I check out her bio and her paintings. Surrealist painter and went to live in Mexico. I'm surprised she never met Frida. I tried looking something up about that but couldn't find anything. Well thanks for introducing me to this painter. May she rest in peace. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Actually Georgina, I just read the obit on her:

She definitely knew Frida and Diego and of course Andre Breton. How exciting and she was a beautiful woman. Thanks for the introduction to her.

Georgina, I love this pic of her. It could have been taken yesterday, it feels very modern. I love the surrealists, they gave me my first true interest in art. I'm sorry to see one of the originals go, but 94 is a good long life. They must be having some interesting convos up in Heaven. :)) xo Pam
